PRAYER
Prayer is important at St Matthew's. We recognise our Growing, Knowing, Going, Showing will go nowhere without it! We want prayer to perfuse everything we do.
We also have a Quiet Hour on the third saturday of every month from 9-10am in one of the church halls
· we have a warm drink
· a thought to reflect on
· a time to pray together before the weekend gets going
There is a weekly Prayer e-mail for up to date prayer requests.
There is a Prayer Chain for personal and often more urgent prayer needs.
There is a congregational Prayer Booklet to ensure every church member is prayed for at some time through the year.
There are occasional Prayer Services.
And, of course, there is Congregational Prayer in all our worship services as well as individuals who pray daily.l
