Facilities at St. Matthews

Our main sanctuary is B listed having been designed by John Honeyman. The sanctuary seats 1,000, with a Walker organ which has recently been refurbished.

We have three halls: the Main Hall, the Mission Hall and the Session Hall. There is a three roomed flat which is informally furnished and is available for smaller meetings of up to 10 people. The Tower room is the domain of our teenagers, who chose the furnishings and designed the mural. The rates for hire are very competitive. The income contributes towards the costs of staffing and maintenance.

During the summer months, the Sanctuary is open to visitors and locals in the mornings. The Main Hall and Session Hall are used nearly every weekday night by youth organisations, the Guild, Scottish Country Dancing and badminton groups.
