Holy Week
During Holy Week (2nd-8th April) there will be a selection of special services taking place within the city centre of Perth:
Monday to Friday
8:30-8:45am - Morning Service at Perth: St Matthew's, Tay Street.
1:00-1:15pm - Lunctime Service at Perth: North, Murray Street.
7:30-8pm - Evening Service at Perth: St Leonard's in the Fields & Trinity, Scott Street.
Good Friday (6th April)
7:30-8pm Evening Service at Perth: St Leonard's in the Fields & Trinity, Scott Street.
Easter Sunday (8th April)
7am - Perth Action for Churches Together (PACT) Service at Quarry Mill Park,Isla Road (cnducted by Rev Scott Burton. Perth: St Matthew's).
Morning worship at each of the above congregations and St John's Kirk.
On the fourth Thursday afternoon, there is an informal service for those who for any reason find difficulty with a full service. This is held in the Session Hall and folk feel free to go out and in during the course of the service. Members of the congregation assist with transporting members who would otherwise find it difficult to attend.
In December, in the run up to Christmas, we have a service for bereaved families. To this we invite all those families who have lost loved ones during the year, acknowledging that they will be finding this time of year especially difficult. This service has become increasingly well attended since its inception.
